Sculptures and designer objects in wickerwork

The contemporary basketwork sculptures of Tressages Pas Sages embody the encounter between craftsmanship and contemporary art. The aim is to consider basketwork beyond its practical use.

Each object takes shape through the wicker fiber, patiently braided, intertwined, shaped, and sculpted, until it becomes a unique work. These sculptures do not just decorate; they inhabit the space, they dialogue with it. The braiding creates solids and voids, captures the light, and projects moving shadows that transform the atmosphere.

Each piece reflects formal research, a balance between tradition and experimentation. Wicker reveals its expressive power: sometimes supple, sometimes solid, it creates organic volumes and natural rhythms. These creations find their place in high-end interiors, galleries, or public spaces. They reflect the studio's commitment to a sustainable and sensitive aesthetic. Contemplating these sculptures, we rediscover the presence of nature, the trace of gesture, the energy of a living material.
