Projects, performances and installations in contemporary basketry
Tressages Pas Sages' performances and installations go beyond simple object creation. They offer a living experience, where contemporary basketwork unfolds in space and engages the viewer. The wicker strands take the form of monumental structures, imaginary landscapes, and ephemeral architecture.
Each installation reveals the expressive power of natural materials: they capture light, modulate volumes, and transform the perception of space. The performances highlight the craftswoman's visible and shared gesture, which becomes an artistic act. These projects are part of festivals, exhibitions, and events where the public is invited to experience them. They reflect a desire to open contemporary basketry to living art and collective experience.
The installation then becomes a space to explore, a place of contemplation and encounter. Each ephemeral work leaves a tangible imprint, a memory of matter in motion.
Design Parade 2025 - Latcho Drom

Custom-made creation for Mimo Studio, finalists of the Design Parade 2025.
"𝐴𝑛𝑐𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑒" is a wickerwork seat born from a sensitive dialogue with Mimo Studio.
Mimo Studio's intentions resonated deeply with my own “Paths
“crossroads”, these wicker paths which invite you to take a step to one side.
I patiently selected different varieties of 𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘁 to create a monochrome bark pattern.
The natural colours of the wicker harmonize with the 𝗷𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 and the 𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘅 gleaned by Raphaëlle Lhuillier and Margaux Padrutt at the 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀-𝗱𝗲-𝗹𝗮-𝗠𝗲𝗿.
We chose raw materials to compose a work in direct dialogue with
the other pieces of the scenography.
Warped with patience, tied with raw linen string, this braiding embodies a common writing, between trace and tension.
This meeting would not have taken place without Adeline Cathelin of Studio mo-mo who knew how to orchestrate the alchemy.
